How well do teeth whitening trays from the store work?
Published: July 24th, 2009
I want to get the teeth whitening trays from the store. Do they work? How long do they take to work?
Teeth whitening is commonly accomplished by applying a bleaching agent to the teeth. The longer the bleaching agent is applied the better it works. Or at least this is how every teeth whitening system is marketed. If you are really looking for teeth whitening, normal toothpaste probably isn’t enough just by itself.
I suggest doing what this mom did,

They don’t work as much, might whiten a shade or two depending how yellow your teeth are, other wise nothing noticeable…
I bought crest and it did not work, was waste of $30

They usually take a day or two before you start to notice a difference, but yes it does work. It is basically a process of bleaching your teeth to remove any noticeable stains or discolorations on your teeth.

Dazzle White is a whitening gel that you use on your teeth. You can find more about it here:

Dentist dispensed home teeth whitening trays generally use a slightly stronger concentration of bleaching agents than over the counter products, which means that the treatment doesn’t take as long. A home teeth whitening tray from your dentist will generally work in just a few hours, as opposed to weeks or even months for an over the counter home teeth whitening tray
