depending on how much of your wisdom tooth has grown... if it is still in ur gums, they will use a simple, quick surgical procedure. it also will be not as painfull as having it pulled out, they will put u to sleep..
if your tooth is not connected to the nerve, it will have minimal pain.. also if they pull it out, only eat soft foods there are only really two main ways to take them out..
References :
Dentists use a lot of very dangerous chemicals called anilines that deaden the nerves and then they pull the teeth. These aniline chemicals like, novacaine, procaine, lidocaine, carbocaine, etc. that are VERY AGGRESSIVELY carcinogenic. Typically they use about 14 cc of these chemicals. Each shot is about 2 cc. This one shot has the toxic equivalent of smoking 1 pack of cigarettes each day for 12.9 years.

Septocaine is an aniline and is toxic, but is the only aniline found to not produce the dangerous homologs that cause cancer. Dentists can get this, but most are very stuborn in regard to accepting criticism. Good biological dentists, and there are only a handful in the U.S., truly understand the problems with these chemicals.

The next problem is that 94% of ALL wisdom teeth extractions generate cavitations or "NICO" (neuralgia-induced cavitations osteonecrosis). This is a progressive deterioration of the jaw bone where infections rage out of control. These cavitations are responsible for many diseases we face in our modern society today. Just one of these infections deplete the body of minerals, leaving it susceptible to disease.

Wisdom teeth can be extracted, but there needs to be a proper procedure used to do so and also support nutrition to prevent the cavitations. I strongly suggest if you need these extractions, you seek out a good biological dentist to do the work, not the typical dentists that use the ADA "standard of care" that promotes disease.

good luck to you
References :
CNT, B.A. biology & chemistry
