Treatments Provided by Cosmetic Dentists in MA

A set of beautiful teeth can now become a reality for everyone, as numerous cosmetic dental solutions are available. Whether you have stained teeth, crooked teeth, chipped or cracked teeth, gummy smile, overbite or underbite, gapped teeth, or missing teeth, cosmetic dentistry has solutions to all these problems. Some of the most sought after cosmetic dentistry treatments include the following:

?    Zoom Teeth Whitening: It is an hour-long process where your teeth covered with a gel is positioned just below a special light. It helps the gel in penetrating your teeth and removing all stains and discoloration. It is one of the most effective ways of getting sparkling white teeth.

?    Porcelain Veneers: Porcelain veneers are a type of porcelain covering on the front surface of the tooth to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. This is a great solution for problems such as disfigured tooth, stained tooth caused by tetracyline and gapped tooth where porcelain veneers can be used to close the gaps effectively.

?    White Fillings: White fillings are replacing the use of silver fillings that used to show while laughing. The white fillings available today have the same properties of longevity as that of silver fillings with the only exception that they give a natural look as opposed to the latter.

?    Tooth Implant: Tooth implant is one of the most advanced mechanisms in cosmetic dentistry aimed at missing teeth. It takes the form of a small titanium screw that works as the anchor for the replacement tooth. It is placed on the bone of the upper or lower jaw and allowed to bond with the bone. It allows the replacement tooth to look and function like the natural tooth.

?    Dental Crowns: Dental crowns or caps help in hiding the cracked, decayed, badly discolored, broken, or chipped teeth.

There are many cosmetic dentists in MA. However, it is important to find a reliable dentist who can find solutions to your dental problems effectively. Apart from providing all kinds of cosmetic dentistry solutions, they are known for their additional services such as provision for flexible financing, entertaining emergencies and family environment. They use advanced dental technology such as digital X-rays, intra-oral camera, TMJ Jaw pain relief, laser cavity detector, non-surgical gum care and many more.

    Cosmetic Dentist?
How many years, and how long does it take to become a cosmetic dentist? Any good schools? I’m planning on going to a 4-year college but i want to know what to do after that, or if I should take the full 4 years. Any tips from dentists? thanks!

Any general dentist should be capable of doing cosmetic dentistry.. That’s why "cosmetic dentistry" is not recognized as a specialty by the American Dental Association.

To become a dentist in the USA, you need to either earn your Bachelors degree in a 4-year college then go to dental school, or go into a combined 7-year BA/DDS program.

While you are doing your Bachelors, you need to fulfill the pre-dental course requirements, take your DAT exam, and get good recommendation letters from your instructors (most of which needs to be science instructors). Then apply and get into a dental school.

There are only 53 dental schools in the USA, so they are all "good." Which one you choose depends on your location and if the school fits your preferences and needs.

4 years of dental school later, you graduate with a DDS or DMD degree (same degree, just different letters) and you are a dentist.

    Hope this helps.

"th" is correct - there is no real specialty recognized as "Cosmetic".

One of the big dental mentors is fond of saying, "All dentistry should be cosmetic." In other words, if you bother restoring teeth, it should look good.

Many doctors attend additional courses after graduation to improve their skills, especially if they want to focus on the "extreme makeover" part of dentistry. In that case, the Las Vegas Institute, or LVI, is probably the best known.

Personally….if I walked into a dentist’s office and saw anything about LVI, I’d run.
