What is so great about ACT mouthwash?
My dentist and so many other dentists and dental professionals recommend ACT mouthwash to help prevent dental caries. They say it is because of the protective effect of the fluoride in ACT. But is ACT great only because of the fluoride? Or because it doesn’t contain alcohol? I use fluoride toothpaste, why isn’t this enough? Also, there’s a version of Listerine that is alcohol-free and contains fluoride. Is this as good as ACT?
Anytime you can apply fluoride to the teeth, you will benefit from it. Toothpastes, mouthwashes, and topical application at the dental office, are all beneficial. It really does not matter about which brand is used. The all push there products with marketing methods.
