Are there actually adults without dental caries? And…?

How do we know when we need a filling?
I have only started having caries now and I'm 26 years old. I don't know how because I have pretty good dental hygiene. Also, the ones I have a just tiny black dots on the crown of some teeth. Thanks!
Yes there are adults who have never had a cavity. My father died at the age of 74 without one cavity. I am 44 and have never had one. It is mostly heredity that determines how strong your teeth are and how resistant they are to decay, as evidenced by your developing cavities despite having good dental habits, and my being pretty lazy about flossing, but have never had a cavity.

I would get into the dentist as soon as possible to get the cavities filled before they get bigger and start cause more problems .
