why is there tooth pain on taking chocolates while there is caries tooth?

The sugar affects the nerves, causing pain. Brush more and eat less chocolate, and use a flouride rinse. For pain relief, dob the affected tooth with clove oil.

first of all, if you know you have caries, you should be sitting in a dental chair–not eating chocolate.
sweets and hot/cold temperatures tend to stimulate "pain" in teeth. this is caused by exposure of nerve/nutrient channels (dentinal tubules) in the tooth. such pain will continue until the tubules are cleaned and sealed with an appropriate dental filling.
