I was wondering what products are the best for teeth whitening?
First, what is a good whitening toothpaste?
Second, what is a good product to use for teeth whitening that doesn’t leave my teeth extremely sensitive? I have heard from multiple people that a lot of the whitening strips leave your teeth very sensitive. Anyone have any experience with a whitening product that does not leave you with extremely sensitive teeth after?
You can ask your dentist about having them whitened. It cost about $500.00 or try dazzle white, it works really great to get white teeth and the best thing you can try it for free. Visit this site, if you interested to learn more about it

Since 2 days ,my 7 month old son stopped drinking milk at night . On top of that, he started developing dental caries in his lower erupting tooth .So I am worried if this is the right time to stop bottle feeding ?
happened to ours too, make sure he drinks water before bed time this will help slow the decay that milk promotes

I have a wearing away of enamel on one of my teeth that is sensitive. My dentist told he he will probably just desensitizes it. I am wondering if anyine can tell me what exactly he will do to my tooth and if it is painful.
Hi! I’ve been in dentistry for over 20 years. And NO it is not painful. However, you have several options. The dentist can place a filling type material over the area, or apply a fluoride solution that will adhere and reduce sensitivity or you can try a higher concentration of fluoride yourself. All this means it that he makes you a thin tray that you place the fluoride in and wear for 30 minutes. This oftens "soaks" into the dentin and reduces sensitivity. Go with his suggestions first. And again, no pain what so ever once he covers the area and seals it. You will be fine. If you have any other questions, please ask. Marie D~

So the past few weeks i have been lazy and neglecting my teeth, and eating a lot of sweet foods. To my horror i found a small hole on the side of one of my teeth. I can feel the edges of the hole with my tongue but it doesn’t hurt at the moment. If i brush it really clean, will that stop it from growing? Should i just leave it or do you recommend i go see the dentist to get a filling done? the hole is about 3mm wide, not really deep. Has a bit of brown bit on the edge..
thanks.
sorry, there is no home remedy to stop that kind of dental caries from growing. a 3mm hole is not "small" relative to the size of your teeth. go see a dentist asap for a filling while it hasn’t become sensitive yet. the hole you see will actually become bigger and deeper when the dentist makes a cavity preparation because he has to remove all caries-affected tooth structure and get to the sound tissue before putting in the filling. this procedure is done to help prevent recurrence of caries formation after putting in the filling.
do it soon. waiting too long might mean the difference between a root canal (which is much, much more expensive and troublesome ) and a simple filling.
good luck.

It seem’s that I never knew what morning breath meant. Now I do. All of a sudden one day I had really bad breath for some reason even though I brush my teeth 3 times a day. What can I do besides chew gum? Anyone ?
Bad breath is caused by bacteria "poop" on your tongue. It has nothing to do with your teeth and therefore it doesn’t matter how often you bursh them. Use a tongue scraper to remove the bacteria and some mouth wash and you’ll be fine. That’s what I did and I’m getting along just fine.

I had the trays once but they didnt make the entire tooth white, as if the product didnt cover the entire tooth, it wasnt uniform. will the laser (i think its laser), the one time whitening be better at making the teeth all white?
It’s a heck lot more precise, quicker, safer and better than chemical whitening. It’s like the ultimate whitening product. The only issue is it’s too darn expensive.
Make sure you use decent whitening toothpastes to maintain it afterwards.

Would you think that the use of dental bleaching trays at night might help to retain "some" of the moisture on the teeth, or enough to be of help, aiding in the reduction of dental caries associated with patients who suffer with dry mouth due to medical conditions or medications they take? I’m curious as to the response I’ll get with this question, thank you all in advance!
I’m just asking for thoughts on this, any suggestions to a revised stint, or any comments. So tell me if you think this concept could be of any help, and any type of solutions that might be of use if this could possibly be of any help with the effects of dry mouth in regard to dental caries. Dr. Sam, I would appreciate your opinion on this. I look forward to reading any remarks given.
What about any patients who may have reported increased saliva production when wearing mouth guards or bleaching stints? I have not read any articles or reports to confirm this might be of help. I’m in a debate over this, and I don’t like to lose, especially when I think I’m right. Although, I may have missed something, but I have no knowledge of any studies made or any dental reports on it?
Yes, I would also think so.
I would also think that the use of "trays" without any solutions, would cause dry mouth to be possibly even more severe.
I agree with toothdoc. Ideas of things you could do to help would be to brush more often with soft bristle brush and a sensitive toothpaste (like sensodyne), and use a topical fluoride at home (dentists can prescribe these to patients). There are saliva substitutes that can be used, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Salivart. It is difficult to duplicate saliva and it is probably something that people wouldn’t even think could be a big deal.
I wish you (or the person with this condition) the best.

The dentist gave my 6 year old 3 shots, one right after the other, before beginning the procedure. It was horrible. Is that normal? Wouldn’t just one shot have been sufficient?
Some times the first shot just numbs up the area to go deeper. I would rather be extra numb then have them feel the drill. They will never want to go back if they felt the actual work. The dentist knows best. I have had lots done and believe me the shot is nothing compared to the drill hitting a nerve. Your child will be glad he doesn’t get a tooth ache. Hang in ther Mom.

equation 1. 6co2 + 6H20 -> C6H1206 + 602
equation 2. c6h12o6 + 6o2 ->6co2 + 6h2o
how do these two equations together demonstrate that matter is recycled?
1. This is photosynthesis: only autotroughs (like plants) do this
2. This is cellular respiration: both plants and animals do this, but mainly, you think of animals doing it
