I want to get the teeth whitening trays from the store. Do they work? How long do they take to work?
Teeth whitening is commonly accomplished by applying a bleaching agent to the teeth. The longer the bleaching agent is applied the better it works. Or at least this is how every teeth whitening system is marketed. If you are really looking for teeth whitening, normal toothpaste probably isn’t enough just by itself.
I suggest doing what this mom did,

How often does it occur?
I´ve never had caries in my life, I´m 44, but I feel some pain in the area of a tooth that supports the fixed bridge.
What is it most likely to be?
My dentist was not specific. It´s few weeks I feel a small pain.
My dentist is a friend of mine. He never takes me for serious because I have excellent teeth..so he didn´t send me to x-rey. Still I am afraid of caries so I´ll do it.
Thank you.
there are chances of caries or periodontal problems. Need to take an x ray & find out.

Also, if there are teeth broken off into the gums, what is done about that? How do they make dentures that look like your own teeth (normal) and how is it done in one day? Help! Need answers ASAP
First you go in for a consultation, they take an xray of your mouth and go over your options with you. If you need dentures, they take impressions of your mouth with basically metal mouthguards that size up with your gum line and give the shape of your mouth. Then they send your impressions to the lab to have your denture made. Then they pull your teeth, teeth broken off at the gumline are usually no problem. They come out rather easy from what my oral surgeon told me. Then they might have to file down the ridges (aveoplasty is what the process is called) on you jawline to make sure your dentures sit correctly on your gums. Then they stitch you up if you need stitches, pop your dentures in and send you home. Just remember to keep a positive outlook on things, and they will go a little easier.

Just got my braces off and would like to whiten my teeth a little. They could really use it… Any good brands of teeth whitening strips that are not that costly and work great? Thanks
Brush with baking soda for a while and it will whiten your teeth

5 days ago, I had a cavity drilled and filled. Before, I had absolutely zero pain. They said it was "very deep" and close to the pulp (after they drilled it). Since, I have been having a lot of pain in that tooth when I chew (cannot bite down hard, doesn’t hurt when it’s just chilling.) The first day the whole thing hurt a lot even when I wasn’t chewing.
Anyway, what is wrong?? I am very nervous. What could be causing this? Thank you so much for your help!
1. wisdom teeth NOT removed, bottom ones (i think, or maybe top) are impacted
2. problem tooth is 6-year-molar, top right of mouth
3. have had two teeth pulled (on bottom i think)
4. had braces about 4 years ago
It’s time to revisit the dentist and have the tooth checked. There are any number of things that can cause it to hurt- something as simple as the filling being "short" to having it not seal entirely. It may also have set off the nerves of the tooth, and you may be looking at needing a root canal. But it will take a dental exam to tell you exactly what the malfunction is, and what fix is needed. It may even be related to those wisdom teeth- but only the dentist can tell for sure. It’s okay, sometimes it just happens.

I am going to the dentist first thing Monday morning to have him look at what I am almost 100% sure is an abscessed tooth. I’m assuming that he will prescribe me antibiotics, but how long after first seeing me will he likely preform a root canal on the tooth? Is it possible that if I see him Monday, he will work on it by Wednesday? Obviously Thanksgiving is on Thursday, I have family plans on Friday and then I’m back to school on Sunday.
What are the chances of this? How soon will he work on it, most likely?
Ideally as soon as possible in my opinion. Or he may refer you to an endodontist if he doesn’t have the time in his schedule.

My Son is having caries from birth. He was not bottle-fed nor sucking tumb or having sweets. The caries developed from the time he was teething. I showed it to lot of dentist, they say to wait until his milk teeth fall (another 6 years). My son almost complains every day of pain and we give him some medicine as instructed by one dentist. Please advise
Dentists are reluctant to remove baby teeth but if this is causing pain you need to get him referred to a paediatric dentist.
Has anyone investigated why he has such poor teeth?
